cene
lp do takrat

še en del članka
It ´s funny thing, what was my first reaction after I had heard about container houses. I couldn´t imagine, how can someone live in a container. But I have changed my opinion, after young architect had presented us his project. His idea is to offer cheaper home solution, what indeed is a main advantage of conhouses. This kind of structures already exists in foreign countries, what confirms that this project is realizable. Two important components of this project like technology and price are great advantages. What might be a problem is a third and very important component called human. Our purpose is to offer a home solution, where people would like to live, otherwise this project is useless.
I was fascinated, when I saw what kind of structures is possible to build out of containers. You can hardly believe that those homes are made of containers. Interior design is very modern and functional. With more windows and interesting colours of exterior or perhaps different materials of façade we could offer a very pleasant home solution.

članke za revijo
Pošiljam vam, kar sem jz napisala, kot prispevek za revijo.
lep vikend vsem skupi!
I'm writing, because I would really like to tell you, what me and my group are doing lately. At our university in 3rd and 4th year of study, we can choose one subject, which we are going to listen in one semester. At first I didn't know what to choose, because the list is quite long and there are a lot of interesting subjects. But then I heard, that one of them is a little bit different from others, because you work on the certain project, which is very practical and not just a theory. That was probably the main raison for me to join these classes of professor Vahčič. During the first lesson, we split in to special groups, in which each of us is now having a different project, on which we have to work. I think this team work is really great, because we can join our ideas and team spirit and the results are always different and sometimes unpredictable. But this is in my opinion the main purpose of that kind of work.
So, I will tell you something more about our work in the group. We decided to help young families (students, or young people who are already working), to find a place, where they can live. The biggest problem in our point of view, is the price and the costs, because they can’t afford this really expensive apartments and houses. So we heard about this conhouses, which are actually containers, improved and upgraded into functional apartments, and we decided that this will be our project. Now we have to choose the location for them, how many of them we should put together, what kind of equipment do we have to put in, which furniture would be the best and the cheapest,…So, we have to find out what our potential costumers need and how we could in the best way possible, reach and make their dreams to become the truth. In conclusion, I have to say, that we know that this off course is not a very easy exercise, but we also know that we are going to learn a lot of new things, become more experienced in that kind of work, we will improve our skills and knowledge in many different areas.

NUJNO!!
Jaz mam eno vprašanje - koliko kvadratnih metrov meri notranjost kontejnerja (neto površina) in koliko zunanjost (bruto površina)?!?!?Kakšne dimenzije (širina - dolžina) je kontejner??
Naj mi čimprej nekdo to napiše, če slučajno ve.
P.S: Jaz bom ziher na roko narisala, ker nimam zdaj časa se učit tega programa (mam 2 kolokvija ta teden).

zanimivost
POGLEJTE KAJ SEM NAŠLA :)
How would your campus look in 3D?You show us.
This spring, you and your (presumably equally artistic) friends can honor your home turf and hone your 3D design skills by entering Google SketchUp's Build Your Campus in 3D Competition. Simply model your school's campus buildings in Google SketchUp, geo-reference them in Google Earth and submit them through this competition web site to earn lasting online glory and, for the winners, an all-expense-paid visit to Google.
You may enter this competition if you are a higher education student in the United States or Canada. Team up with other students, or take the project on yourself. We suggest you have a faculty advisor in order to do the best work possible. Good luck and happy sketching!
1. Start creating.
All buildings on your main campus should be modeled in Google SketchUp using photo-texturing and with a low-polygon count. To find out how to model this way, view our best practices document and our video tutorials, or look at this building example.
2. Submit your models here by 11:59pm PDT June 1, 2007.
Be sure to register yourself and/or your team and submit your campus models using the links below. All entries will become public domain on our 3D Warehouse and visible in Google Earth. Google has the right to use all submissions in any form desired for any length of time. Please review the Official Rules before submitting.
Register your team anytime between January 11 - June 1, 2007.
All team members must be registered under both team name and individual names.
Submit your completed models here by 11:59pm PDT June 1, 2007.
Models must be submitted through this competition website by 11:59pm PDT June 1, 2007. All team members must be identified by name on the online registration form. Models will be sent in the format of both .skp (SketchUp) and .kmz (Google Earth) files.
3. Check out the winners.
The winning entries will be posted to the 3D Warehouse by July 10, 2007. A selection of non-winning entries will be posted to the 3D Warehouse by August 30, 2007.
4. Awards.
The top 5-7 teams (max 50 people) will win a 3 day trip to Google's Mountain View headquarters to participate in a workshop with 3D modeling experts from Google, get free airfare and hotel, food in our world-famous cafes, and a guided tour of our incredible campus. Oh yeah, and lasting online glory!
5. Judging.
Judging will be based on the criteria listed below: (refer to the best practices document for more information.)
- Models should have low numbers of polygons
- Models should be created using "textures" (photographs)
- Quality of textures (removal of obstructions)
- Completeness of campus
- Higher levels of detail for special campus buildings
